How I Began

I initially studied Art, loved it, but couldn’t see a way to earn a living from it so I started tattooing in 2012. I set up Fuzzy Panda a year later.

Why Fuzzy Panda? I know it’s not the most likely name for a tattoo studio, but I wasn’t the most attentive student at school and one particular teacher said I’d amount to nothing. So I told her I was going to run my own business. She asked me what this hypothetical business was going to be called and I just said the first thing that came into my head.

Why I was thinking about fuzzy pandas at the time I have no idea – but it possibly explains why I wasn’t a favourite pupil!

How I Work

I like to draw everything from scratch and I want you to work with me during the process. This tattoo will be on your body for life, so you’ve got to like it! However, I do need you to trust me as your artist and prefer a free reign. I’d like to say that nothing is impossible, but some things just are! Some ideas simply will not work on your skin.

I know most tattooists develop a style which they stick to, but since I work alone I have tried not to pigeon hole myself. There will always be tattoos which I prefer to do, but I will work with you to get you what you want as far as is humanly possible.

I am happy working in colour or black and white. Beware though, I do not do Tribal!
